The Province of Christ the King represents Apostolic Christianity in the Anglican tradition. Our beliefs are stated on the pages of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. The Province of Christ the King is an Anglican Church committed to traditional forms of doctrine and liturgy. The Province is a body composed of five dioceses with parishes and missions throughout the United States. The Church's responsibility is to reveal Christ to the world. The Province of Christ the King holds the "faith once delivered to the saints" as handed down from the apostolic fathers.

St. Charles is a parish of the Anglican Province of Christ the King in the Diocese of the Southern States. We are a 1928 Book of Common Prayer congregation. You are invited to come worship God with us. No life is so sinful, worldly or broken that a sincere personal relationship with Christ our Savior cannot heal it. NEWS: On October 23rd, Abp. Provence presided over the institution of Fr. Steve Victory as the 3rd rector of St. Charles, King and Martyr parish in Huntsville, Alabama. The parish had been without a rector since July 2010. Fr. Steve began serving as a supply in February under Bp. William Wiygul's licensure, as he was still canonically resident within the Diocese of New Orleans, Anglican Catholic Church. After forging a close relationship with the parishioners of St. Charles, and the clergy of the diocese, Fr. Victory made the decision to become canonically resident within the Diocese of the Southern States, when in June, the vestry of St. Charles made an election in favor of Fr. Victory. Upon becoming resident, Abp. Provence confirmed the vestry's election and appointed Fr. Victory to the rectorate on August 11th, 2011.
Holy Communion is offered every Sunday at 10:00 AM (Check the St. Charles Parish BLOG for a monthly schedule of all services and events). Also posted on the Parish BLOG are the Homilies and Prospers for the Services. We welcome visitors, and inquirers are encouraged to contact us to learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the truths of historic Christianity as expressed in Anglicanism. |
